I don't have any pictures for you all today. Sorry. I am blogging this from my phone. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about what I'll be getting up to this week.
I've stayed pretty well connected while I've been here. Good phone reception,Internet and even free wifi here and there. That is all about to change though because I am heading to the land of no phone reception, no power, bucket showers and drop toilets.
I'll be living in a traditional Maasai village for one week - mud hut and all! We'll be working in the local health clinic in the mornings while afternoons will be filled with markets, spiritual healers, crafts, something they refer to as a Maasai disco and a goat sacrifice. Apparently we can try to eat the goat kidney or drink some blood if we want to join in. I'm not sure how I'll go with that. Do you think I should try it??
So I'll be off the grid for a little while. I'll be back next Saturday with lots of pictures and stories.
Till next time x
